Trend: Owls spotted in T-shirts and accessories

owl-slidesOwls have been so hot that a reality star was sued earlier this year for stealing the idea to create jewelry featuring them. The hinged owl necklaces of a couple years ago are still around, and now there’s more competition.

The nocturnal bird of wisdom is gracing countless T-shirts, jewelry, bags and other accessories.

The king of contemporary, Marc by Marc Jacobs, recently came out with owl pendant necklaces, an owl tee and owl bags, too. Search for “owls” on etsy.com, an online community of independent crafters, and it’ll return thousands of hits.
