Cameron Diaz doesn’t often get included in the Best Dressed category on anyone’s list, but her more mature roles mean she’s looking more grownup and chic on the red carpet now.

The California-born actress, whose movie “The Box” hits theaters Friday, has played it casual in the past with jeans and beach hair.

Around the time the third installment of the “Shrek” franchise came and went and Diaz took on the role of a mother with a leukemia-stricken daughter in “My Sister’s Keeper,” she stepped it up a notch.

The dress pictured is one of my favorite looks of hers.
