In my first post here I talked about my love for Jimmy Choos and got A LOT of noise about the cost of the shoes, which I bought on DEEP sale and which still cost more than the new line Jimmy Choo is doing for H&M.
The collection, filled with trendy cage-style ankle straps and bondage worthy-spike heels, studded, bestriped, TO DIE FOR clutch bags and killah leather accessories debuts in a week exclusively in Orange County at, where else? South Coast Plaza.
The budget line is still not cheap, with shoes that range from $80 to $299 and purses that cost up to $399, but there are plenty of easy-to-afford items including scarves, bracelets and other accessories that start around $25.
On Saturday, Nov. 14 the H&M in the Bloomingdale’s wing of SCP will begin selling the limited line on a first-come-first-gets basis. That means local fashionistas need to line up at the store beginning at 6:30 in the a.m. (I know, that’s early for the trendsetting young locals who are likely to eat up this collection, but the shoes, purses and accessories are HOT and sell for a fraction of what Choos would sell for at the mainline Jimmy Choo boutique at the other end of the mall.) The store will open at 10 a.m.
I’ll have more for you about the collection next week but for now take a look at some of the yummies that will be available and make a special note: Choo is doing apparel for the first time EVER. Also included, some totally luxe-cool duds for the dudes in your life.
Here are a few more small bites of the collection to whet your appetite.
Check out the entire collection here.
H&M and Jimmy Choo are expecting a big turnout and are trying to limit the amounts shoppers can purchase. Click here for info on “how to shop for Jimmy Choo at H&M.”
Ciao for now…
